Tattershall Castle is host to Raphael Historic Falconry this weekend. This is a rare opportunity to watch historically accurate birds of prey swoop and soar and to learn all about hawking in Lord Cromwell’s time. The event itself is free, but normal National Trust admission charges apply for non-members. There’s no need to book in advance.
There will be three flying displays on Saturday and Sunday (July 02 and 03), starting at 11am. Between shows the falconers will be on hand to talk more about the birds from their static display. Full details
