“Hambledon Productions was established in 2007 by brother and sister team John and Rachael Hewer. The company is based in Lincolnshire and produces a wide range of eclectic work while striving to take theatre into communities that may not have the opportunity to experience new theatre productions.
Rachael graduated from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2007, and since then has worked extensively in theatre, opera, television and film both in the UK and abroad. John Hewer graduated from Northumbria University in Drama and Scriptwriting as well as completing additional writing workshops at the Royal Court Theatre and Soho Theatre. In 2014, John toured extensively with Just Like That! The Tommy Cooper Show……. Great Yorkshire Fringe Festival, London’s Museum of Comedy and two nationwide tours. He recently appeared in and wrote A Fistful of Spaghetti and runs annual scriptwriting workshops at the Riverhead Theatre, Louth. John also works as a freelance writer and director.”
