Woodhall Spa 1940s Festival and Thorpe Camp 1940s weekend: plan ahead!

“The second weekend in July 2018 will see the very best of our region, as two highly successful events that celebrate Lincolnshire’s unique role in World War II will take place in partnership. Woodhall Spa 1940s Festival and Thorpe Camp 1940s Weekend will – for one year only – take place on the same weekend, 7-8 July 2018. The “Blitz spirit” partnership forged between the two volunteer committees means huge opportunity for visitors to attend two of Lincolnshire’s best summer events in one fantastic weekend.”

Whether or not you have been to this highly successful and popular annual time-warp event before, it’s a very good idea to visit the official festival website, especially if you want to make the most of the wide range of events on offer, contact the organisers or find out where to park. You can also check out feedback from previous years and browse the gallery of photos from last year’s festival – and much besides.
