Lincolnshire Wolds videos

Earlier this month I noticed three rather nice videos on Youtube promoting the Lincolnshire Wolds which have now been compiled into one feature. There are quite a few scenes shot on our patch, dotted around the three original films, so it’s worth staying with it to the end. Why not sit back, take your mind off mustard gas down in the woods and see how many places or people you recognise!

“Explore the Castle, spot the clues and claim your chocolate prize with our family-friendly Egg hunt, in partnership with Cadbury. The Cadbury Bunny has bounced into Tattershall Castle and borrowed Lord Cromwell’s biggest treasure chest for his stash of precious chocolate. Our floppy-eared friend has left clues around the castle for you to unlock the chest and claim your own choccy treat. To get your hands on the edible treasure you’ll need to scour the great tower, hop across the moat bridges and hunt through the ruins to collect your answers” Continue reading

Book Fayre moves uptown to serve our community

book_fayre_3_150When Kathryn and Reg Fairs recently moved their two book shops into one building in the Broadway, a Woodhall Spa  resident commented on how welcome it was to have a bookshop in the village at last. Quite simply, this move represents the realisation of their dream. In Kath’s words, there is more of a buzz now, and the new shop opens up some exciting new opportunities too. Continue reading
