On behalf of Dave Eldridge, WSTA Chairman:

Last year a merry band of Woodhall Spa and district families once again crossed the Channel to spend a long weekend with their French hosts en famille, and plans are now being drawn up for the next return visit by our partners from Roëzé sur Sarthe in May this year.

Woodhall Spa Christmas Fayre 2018

This year’s Christmas Fayre takes place on Friday 7th December in Station Road and The Broadway from 6.00 to 9.00 pm. All the traditional activities and features established over the years will be there and the street will be packed with stalls and activities from clubs, craftsmen and local organisations.

The Christmas Grotto for Santa and his Elves will be a major draw for the crowds of children we see every year. Street entertainment along the whole closure area throughout the evening will feature Morris dancers, street musicians, mascots, Clowns (the friendly variety!!!) and children’s fairground rides. The County Linx Radio Bus will again provide music and a focal point for singers and other entertainment in the centre of the village near The Co-op.                Continue reading
