Lincolnshire Wolds videos

Earlier this month I noticed three rather nice videos on Youtube promoting the Lincolnshire Wolds which have now been compiled into one feature. There are quite a few scenes shot on our patch, dotted around the three original films, so it’s worth staying with it to the end. Why not sit back, take your mind off mustard gas down in the woods and see how many places or people you recognise!

Easter at Tattershall Castle

Photo courtesy Lincolnshire LiveThe Cadbury Egg Hunt returns to Tattershall Castle from Friday 14 April to Monday 17 April.

“Explore the Castle, spot the clues and claim your chocolate prize with our family-friendly Egg hunt, in partnership with Cadbury. To get your hands on the edible treasure you’ll need to scour the great tower, hop across the moat bridges and hunt through the ruins to collect your answers” Continue reading

Petwood Hotel in the news

  • Walking in the gardens and exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds
  • Excellent cuisine made from local ingredients
  • The original Edwardian features bring a bygone age back to life
  • Golfers love being adjacent to Woodhall Spa Golf

Favourite places in North Kesteven

Photo Courtesy North Kesteven Didtrict CouncilIf you take a trip cross the River Witham from Woodhall Spa, over Kirkstead Bridge, you will be leaving East Lindsey District and entering North Kesteven, one of the five districts which divide Lincolnshire. Over the past year North Kesteven District Council’s tourism team held a photographic competition open to amateur photographers of all ages encouraging visitors and residents of the district to get out and about and show what they love about the Heart of Lincolnshire.

The photos submitted captured the distinctiveness of the area and  showcased some wonderful places to visit all year round. The most popular photos also now feature in a 2017 Calendar available to buy for only £3.99 from Cogglesford Watermill, Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre and Navigation House during opening hours, or you can also download them via Dropbox here.
